Services and fees
The State Regional Archives Litomerice makes its collections available for study in its local reading rooms. Conditions for viewing items in the archives reading rooms are defined by statute 499/2004 Sb. and our Research Policy. Upon request, the archives can also search its collections for information and documents needed by state offices and organs as well as individuals and legal subjects, generating reports, facsimilies and copies, and producing analyses of archived material. These services are billable. We request that users of our services do not send payment in advance, but wait for an invoice for services rendered. Payment in cash or money stamps is not accepted.

All new digital reproductions are done in 24-bit color or higher at a basic resolution of 300 dpi in JPG, PDF/A, TIFF, PNG, or RAW formats and are not graphically enhanced.
C. Single-use licensing for reproductions of archival materials
1.1. Use of reproductions of archived materials for scientific and academic purposes (scientific and academic journals, studies, monographs, editions, exhibit brochures, teaching aids) is free of charge. (Note: In such cases, there must appear a citation with the name of the archives and the collection. Without such a citation, use of the reproduction will be deemed to be for commercial purposes.)
1.2. Use of reproductions of archived materials for commercial purposes (illustrated publications, postcards, calendars, promotional materials, etc.) is subject to a usage fee.

These fees also apply to reproductions of archived materials made with the client's own equipment.
D. Filming of collections (except for instructional or educational productions)

E. Research, administrative tasks, and handling fees

Shipping is charged based upon the current fees of the postal carrier.
F. Borrowing audio, film or audiovisual materials
Archives specializing in the preservation of audio, film, and audiovisual materials are bound by this fee table only in relation to the portions of their collections in page format. Other fees shall be determined separately.

Creation of a digital study copy on a user-supplied CD at low resolution may, at archives discretion, be charged using the tariff for electrographic copies.
In accordance with section four of the Research Policy, researchers may, upon obtaining permission from the archives and provided they use their own non-contact reproduction equipment, make their own study copies of materials free of charge.
The range of services offered may vary among the archives in the State Regional Archives Litomerice network depending the technical capacity on site.
